The following items and activities are NOT allowed at this studio for the safety of our guests and property.
Clients may arrive up to 10 minutes before their scheduled start time. Please clean up and exit the studio promptly at the end of your booking. After your booking, you will have another 10-minute window to complete the Checkout Process.
A $10 per minute late fee will be charged to the card on file for any time spent in the studio beyond the 10-minute checkout window.
Knocking on other studio doors is prohibited as it may disrupt sessions and violates guest privacy. Be mindful of other guests by maintaining a respectful noise level and avoiding loud music. Your booking only reserves the studio space and you are not allowed to use any other part of the building during your visit, as the studio is located inside a commercial building.
To ensure the safety and longevity of our studio equipment and furniture, please adhere to the following rules. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in fines or charges for damages. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and high-quality studio environment.
The studio is monitored at all times by security cameras (see Security Camera Monitoring policy below for more information). If a rule violation is detected, a studio representative will contact you twice via the provided phone number. Failure to respond will result in an announcement over the studio’s speaker. Please keep your phone on and at an audible volume during your session.

There are multiple parking meters and a parking garage directly in front of the building entrance, as well as multiple surface parking lots around the building, Pricing for parking ranges from about $1 per hour to $10 per day.

1. Locate the entrance at the northwest corner of 2030 Main Street. The entrance is under an awning with marquee lights.
2. The building door locks on weekends, and after 5 PM on weekdays. If locked, enter the Building Code on the black "Brivo" keypad located on the left wall and open the door to the building. Do NOT leave the door propped open for guests. If you’re expecting multiple people, either have someone greet them at the door or share these entry instructions with everyone in advance.
3. Go to the end of the lobby and call the elevator to go up. Once inside, enter the Elevator Code on the keypad (located above the floor buttons). When the green light has turned on, press the fourth floor button. Please do NOT attempt to go to any other floors as this may disrupt other businesses in the building. You are only allowed on the fourth floor.
4. When you exit the elevator on the fourth floor, go to the end of the hallway until you see the double doors with the Photoloft logo.
5. On the door keypad, enter your Studio Code followed by the checkmark to enter the suite. Locate the door with the Light Loft logo at the end of the lobby and enter your Studio Code once again to gain access to The Light Loft.
5. Please close all doors behind you as you come in, and report any damages or issues you may encounter during your reservation.
1. Ensure all furniture and props are put back in their original position.
2. Roll all backdrops back up and put the remote on the backroom hook.
3. Take any trash and/or props you brought with you if they don't fit in the provided trash can.
4. Close and lock ALL doors behind you as you leave, including the studio and lobby doors.

Restrooms for men and women are located just outside the suite, next to the elevators. Please note that these facilities are shared by other tenants in the building and are intended for restroom use only. Changing clothes, doing hair or makeup, or using the space for any other activities is STRICTLY PROHIBITED and may result in additional fees if misuse is reported or discovered.

A touchscreen tablet located beside the studio door allows you to control lights, locks, and the thermostat. It also displays your remaining session time, provides Wi-Fi details, and guides you through the checkout process at the end of your booking.

The Light Loft includes a private changing room equipped with a full-length mirror, rolling clothing rack, and stool. The room contains no cameras and can be locked from the inside for your privacy.*
You’re welcome to move the clothing rack and stool outside the changing room, but for your safety, we recommend that you do not attempt to remove the mirror.
* A smart presence sensor is mounted above the mirror to automatically control the lights. This device only detects occupancy. It does not record or transmit any images. If you’d like to verify the device, it is an Aqara FP1E Presence Sensor.

The studio is equipped with three motorized extra-wide 12 ft seamless paper backdrops. To help extend their lifespan, please follow these guidelines carefully:


Each booking includes a 300-watt Nanlite RGB light paired with a 36-inch softbox. For your safety, please do NOT remove the light from its stand, as doing so may cause injury or damage the equipment.
After use, roll up the power cord, and hang it neatly on the light. If the light is damaged or malfunctioning, please report it during the Checkout Process so we can replace it promptly.

Our Christmas trees are on wheels and are able to be moved around to whatever configuration you want in the studio. Once done, please return the trees to the back room corner by the window. The 9 ft. tree doesn't fit through the barn doors and must be left out in the main space. Please let us know in the checkout process if you moved around any of the Christmas trees, please let us know in the checkout process to trigger a vacuum cleaner to pick up the snow.
These trees will be available in the Light Loft until Monday January 5th 2026.


A volume-controlled Sonos speaker is available in the studio and compatible with any AirPlay-enabled device. To connect, connect to the studio Wi-Fi and select “Light Loft” from your AirPlay options.

Yes, you can cancel or reschedule your booking at any point. You can reschedule once. Once you reschedule, you cannot reschedule again. Cancellations come with a credit refund depending on the amount of days notice you give:
Once you reschedule a booking, you are no longer eligible to receive a credit refund in the case of a future cancellation on that booking.
Yes, if no one has booked the time after you, you are able to add more time. You can do this before your booking or while your booking is taking place by using the control panel by the door.
Yes, we offer limited tour appointments in between reservations. Contact us to schedule a walk-through if you’d like to see the space in person first.
Due to allergies and unexpected accidents, we currently do not open up our studio to pets by default. We can make exceptions with proof of insurance, but you must provide at least 2 days notice.
Yes, if the time slot is available. Same-day discounts may apply. You’ll get instant access as soon as the booking is confirmed.
Our system tracks entry/exit times. We have a 10 minute grace period to gather your belongings after your session. This time is not meant for you to continue your activities. If you go over time, we’ll attempt to automatically bill you for additional time. Repeated violations may result in account restrictions.
Unfortunately, discounts must be applied during checkout. If you forgot, cancel and rebook if within the cancellation window.
Each booking can be rescheduled once. After that, additional changes aside from adding time are not permitted, and you forfeit your credit refund in the case of a cancellation
Yes. You must go through a brief tutorial on how to use the motorized backdrops to extend their longevity. If you do not complete the tutorial, the motors will remain off.
Absolutely. We just ask that you are mindful of the floors and don't drag the furniture in a rough way. Just put everything back how you found it before you leave. We provide a reset photo and will charge a restaging fee if left in disarray.
Cameras are monitored periodically to check for rule violations or unsafe/prohibited activities. Footage is kept for 30 days and reviewed if a rule is violated, a support request is made, or damage is reported.
Send us an email to support@photoloft.co and attach proof of insurance at least 24 hours in advance. Approval is solely up to our discretion and rejection may not come with an explanation.
Tampering with security systems is a violation of our terms and may result in cancellation without refund and a permanent ban.
Light snacks and drinks are fine, but keep them away from equipment and backdrops. Large meals or catering setups require prior approval.
No alcohol is allowed without prior written approval and appropriate insurance. Events involving alcohol must follow city and state guidelines.
Please take photos and contact support immediately. We’ll verify via security logs and arrange for cleanup if needed.
